The CEDP members discussed the new Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) with the EU Commission, which opens up the activities in cooperative development to the other offices of the ICA.

On June 15-16, Cooperatives Europe will be participating in several events within the framework of the Expo in Milan.
On January 28th, the event 'Businesses for Development: Perspectives from the Cooperative World' will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels. During the event, the new online development platform will be presented to the audience and there will be an open exchange with invited stakeholders about the role of cooperatives in development and their specific contribution to it.
On November 5, Cooperation between Latin America & Europe: Contributions to an inclusive & sustainable development seminar will take place in Cartagena, Colombia.
Food security and sustainable agricolture are among the most urgent problems that the International Community has to face in its post2015 Agenda. In the world, demand for food increase above 4,5% per year while food supply growth only by 2%.
