Project Objectives

Pursuing a course of integrated training to update and exchange between Veneto and Brazilian operators

Summary

The Cooperative Olivotti has been begin to develop exchange and training projects with Brazilian partners since 2004. The Brazilian realities, with which over the years there have been interwoven relationships, are all focused in helping street children, young drug addicts, child prostitutes and young mothers: a delicate reality reception because of the high delinquency rate suffered by these children. All the initiatives envisaged training and supervision activities to improve the professionalism of those engaged in the recovery of children in difficult situations, and to raise the awareness (with actions both in Italy and in Brazil) of their populations on social problems in the peripheral areas, including drug, violence and child abuse
