Project Objectives

Increased volume of milk from members to sustain market , thereby also increase farmers incomes through value added products. Ultimately is to have strong farmer diary cooperatives.

Summary

The project works with dairy farmers and their cooperatives to take them to another level in producrion and productivity at their respective farms. This is to prepare for market entry when different processed products come out to market. Its underlying aim is to bring the idea of competitiveness of the farmers./members of cooperatives through quality production,for eventual processing, and marketing of different products.The capacity of primary societies are built with the view being efficient and effective in their under takings with a help of computerised data of all members. the project is also screening and recruiting new potential cooperatives into the apex UCCCU.
