Project Objectives

The objective is to increase organic producers incomes through better quality products and improved access to remunerative markets. The project also aims to increase leadership capacity within the organic movement in Zambia and strengthen democratic governance structures within OPPAZ and associated smallholder organic farming groups.

Summary

The project aims to enhance production skills among farmers that are practicing organic farming. Organic production reduces cost and increases income, as well as contributes to climate change adaptation. This is achieved through improvement in the quality of produce, increased volumes of organic products and increased access to more lucrative markets.
