Project Objectives

Ensure care, rehabilitation and social reintegration of psychiatric patients of Ambokala and a wide area, around the town of Manakara, southern Madagascar.
 

Summary

Medicines, (anxiolytics, antidepressants, etc ) which are prohibitively expensive for the local population that attended the hospital for the mentally ill, were purchased. The hospital is serving a vast region in the south of the country. Thanks to funds raised, there was the opportunity for the hospital to create a small catering for guests and families while the children of some patients were enabled to be enrolled in school courses.
