Project Objectives
Support the development of the Djangoa village through the women empowerment, the improvement of the hygienic condition, the improvement of the nutrition of children and the development of new economic activities.
Summary
Two new women cooperatives has been organized and had been put in charge of managing the new structures that have been built, in particular a well, new sanitations, and a school garden. Looking at the future development of the region, it will be realized a specific study on the potential creation of economic activities linked to the valorization of the resources of the territory, that's to say fishery, aquaculture, tourism and restaurants. The results of the projects will be spread on the territory and it will be stressed the importance of the decentralized cooperation. The target groups of the project are the 8 women that will create the cooperatives, 100 children of the school of Mamiko and 3000 inhabitants of the Djangoa village that will have access to the improved sanitation. Final beneficiaries are the families of the women involved in the cooperatives and of the children of the school and the whole community of the district that will benefit from the spur of the new social and economic initiatives.
