Project Objectives

Sensitizing the public administration about the potential given by social economy to employment rates

Summary

The project focused on the dissemination of practices, tools and bodies of rules which could contribute to the process of strengthening the social economy in Serbia. Coges participated in the creation of a training course that was held in five cities in Serbia which was attended mainly technical personnel, officials, representatives of "employment centers" and local policy makers of local authorities. The topics covered by the course are: a) analysis of the relationship between social enterprise and public institution; b) placement in a cooperative and enterprise; c) networking; d) development of services for inclusion; e) legislative review; f) exchange of best practices; g) screening of the contracts between the public body and the social enterprise
