Project Objectives

The Project seeks to improve the contribution of the cooperatives in the rural development of the region, strengthening of its management capacities to increase the support for the member’s interest and their surroundings”. Improve the capacity of advocacy of the rural cooperatives, to contribute with the knowledge and defence of social, political, economic and cultural rights of the cooperativists.

Summary

To strengthen the organizational development of rural cooperatives applying the model of organizational management for cooperatives (Modelcoop), a process that allows identification of areas and vulnerable circumstances in the organizations that affect negative or positively present capacities, and to promote technical negotiating team within the sector, to improve the capacity of analysis of the movement.
