Project Objectives
Empowering a community in Lesotho to establish and develop an agricultural co-operative in order to alleviate poverty and achieve sustainability.
Year One objectives are:
- 1. Discussion and appointment of key post holders: Chairperson (who will have the additional responsibility for financial management). Project Manager (who will have the additional responsibility for personnel management). The appointment of a security guard who shall have responsibility for the site and materials procured. (Project Manager).
- The completion of the ground preparation for the planting plots (Community).
- The commencement of fruit and vegetable planting (Community);
- The completion of water harvesting and storage to be done by the community (Community);
- The commencement of work on the creation of fish ponds to start;
- The introduction of bee keeping equipment and bees.
Year Two objectives are currently being developed.
