Project Objectives

The project aims at women’s increased resilience through access to land, financial and ‎production resources. The project will improve women’s capacities and opportunities to afford a ‎decent work. 

Summary

The expected results of this project are:‎
‎ • Strengthened organisational capacity of ARIJ through upgrading their M&E systems, bylaws ;
‎• Good governance practices enhanced (for cooperatives and CBO) through model of ‎applying good governance within coops is promoted ;
‎• Improved relevance and feasibility of cooperative services ‎;
‎• Improved service delivery where coops/CBO provide relevant and feasible services to their ‎members and communities;
• Enhanced institutional framework through advocating the needs of the Palestinian cooperatives; ‎
‎• Increased women participation in decision-making and income generating initiatives through‎ increasing women’s knowledge of practices to overcome restrictions on pursuing commercial or ‎economic activities;
• Promoting and advocating for women’s rights and gender equality through advocacy campaign.
