Project Objectives
The project aims to strengthen AmaroDrom and provide business-oriented services and advocacy aimed at social inclusion of Roma communities and their economic empowerment.
Summary
Some of the programme's results are:
- Improved capacity of AmaroDrom organisation to lobby and advocate on local, national and regional level
- AmaroDrom’s capacity in business development and project management are enhanced
- Project Management skills are enhanced
- Amarodrom is recognised as active promotor of participatory community development
- Awareness is raised on business opportunities and income generation from agriculture activities
- Business planning and management skills among target groups improved
- Capacity building programme in innovative agriculture crops and technologies implemented
- Capacity and skills of participating communities in off-farm business opportunities are improved
- Improved access to civic rights and economic opportunities for Roma and other minorities
- Lobbying, advocacy and networking at the national level enhanced
