Project Objectives

The development of cooperative structures in rural and semi-urban areas through trainings and institutionalization fosters the inclusion of marginalized parts of the population in the country's economy. 

Summary

The regional project of the DGRV aims to make a lasting contribution to:
1. Strengthening and institutionalizing cooperative initiatives, especially in rural and semi-urban areas in selected East African countries, 
2. Education and training on cooperative topics for cooperative institutions. 
The promotion of cooperative forms of cooperation should contribute to strengthening positive economic and social development.
