Project Objectives

Contributing to improve quality life condition and auto-sustenance of Palestinian rural communities

Summary

The project aims to strengthen the production and sustainability of small-scale economic services related to the olive-oil industry, but also sheep and goat – through training activities, production of local inputs and promotion of associations.

The major activities are:

the creation of a network for the Forage Production Centres, the organization of a regional workshop on the strengthening of the cooperative system in Palestine;
advocacy and awareness-raising on the international cooperative movement activities;
the installation of irrigation system;
training and assistance.

The Boorea operators have carried out training missions and support and technical assistance to cooperative management that have strongly contributed to the realization of the project.
