Project Objectives
This project aims to consolidate the Program of Urban Agriculture (PAU) of of Rosario Municipality as a model of socio-productive inclusion for poor urban people, expelled from the formal labor market, with special emphasis on women, youth and householders to activate existing resources in urban areas.
Summary
To achieve its main objective, the project is placing emphasis on:
- The consolidation and diversification of marketing channels of urban fruits-vegetables small producers of Rosario, through awareness raising and training activities on ecological agro-consumption and the establishment of a green consumers retailers.
- The widening and improvement of production in terms of quality, quantity and product, through the purchase and distribution of small infrastructures for the family and community kitchen gardens, the development and consolidation of activity for the agricultural product processing.
