Project Objectives
The partners have been strengthened in their ability to implement the study circle method. The support rendered to the partners include training in the study circle method and ensuring that relevant and appropriate study materials are made available for efficient implementation. Concact persons for study circle development have been selected in each country.
Summary
Education and training are important tools for improving the living conditions for poor women and men in rural areas. Skills to improve production, productivity and adaptation to climate change are vital to decrease poverty. The study circle method serves as a tool for rural communities to learn and work together in solving common problems, which ultimately leads to improved production and local business development.
