Project Objectives

Strong cooperative movement empowered to take charge of their destiny, reduced poverty and injustivce among its cooperative members through increased service delivery and support to members

Summary

This project will be implemeted by Uganda Cooperative Alliance Ltd, an umbrella organisation for all cooperatives in Uganda. The project is a intended to make a transition in the way of capacity building has been offered to cooperative organisations. it will explore the possibility of reforming the process of providing training and extension services to the cooperative training and extension services being done in a manner that ensures full cost recovery. The project intends to buld UCA technical capacity to be able to make strategic interventions for the benefit of the cooperative movement in Uganda strengthened, which will support to growth, enhanced lobby and advocacy, and prepare co-operative to adequately adaptive and resilient to climate change.
