Summary

Bambadinca di Prabis is a suburban area of Bissau that has to deal with the problems normally associated with these types of areas and the ones of traditional villages. The goal of the project was to improve the living conditions of the young kids who lives there trying to teach them the use of the new information technologies with a permanent teaching support. A computer room has been created in Bambadinca di Prabis' elementary school, in order to introduce children and young kids to the use of computers. A list of the activities done: 1. making of the computer room;
2. teaching how to use a computer to 6 professors;
3. teaching how to use a computer to 160 students;
4. teaching how to use a computer and hot to surf the internet to 40 kids;
5. opening of an internet point for the local population;
6. teaching activities with boys of the 5°, 6° and 7° grade.
