The goal of the project was to improve agricoltural techniques and to help the “Villaggio della Speranza” in Dodoma, where a lot of orphans with AIDS are cured , and the 400 beds San Gaspare Hospital in Itigi, a very important hospital in the centre of Tanzania. The Agrarian Faculty of the University of Florence decided to join the project in 2007, stipulating a specific convention with Cooperativa di Legnaia. In 2007-2008 the project ended when the local population started to use the vineyard and the vegetable garden after beign teached about how to use them. After that in Dodoma arrived two containers used as cheese factories to produce milk and cheeses, in order to produce the right amount for Villaggio della Speranza kids. In 2008-2009 Itigi village was at the centre of attention and several animal husbandry activities had been made in a bovine's stall.
