Project Objectives

The project objective is sustainable member-based financial organisations offering accessible and affordable financial services to the underserved communities in Meru District

Summary

The project is intended to address two broad strategic areas, institutional capacity strengthening for Meru Community bank and issues of access to financial services by the communities, individuals, VICOBAs and SACCOS among other strategic groupings. With improved access to financial services by both men and women in Meru district, improved livelihoods for the individual families and communities will be realised.
