Project Objectives

Small and medium-scale farmers improve their incomes, and living standards for their families, by forming equitable business relationships to strengthen an alternative and innovative community-based business model within the Central American national and regional context, based on joint market criteria where participation is fair and equitable.

Summary

To strengthen business management for small-scale farmers so as to improve their placement in local (regional and national) markets and to develop alternative systems of trade guarantees. Construct and consolidate a non-exclusive business model that takes into account: food security, healthy and responsible consumption, strengthened local production, and product diversification of traditional rural products.
