Project Objectives
Creating the conditions for the economic and social development of the Chilean fishery sector, in term of improvement of processes and products and improvement of competitiveness, especially addressing to the Italo-Chilean operators
Summary
Project activities: Phase 1 – Operational Planning. Detailed definition of the training needs; Phase 2 – Information and awareness rising. Promotion of the planned activities sharing of the operative methodologies and of best practices; Phase 3 – Counseling and professional orientation. Activation of n°2 services of “Sea jobs information point” in order to advice the fishery operators on the development and opportunities in the sea jobs; Phase 4 – Training. Responding to the competencies needs of the fishery enterprises and fishery organizations: Training of fishery trainers; Safety and health on board; Fishery services; Vessels technicians; Fishing tourism, fishery tourism and fish gastronomy; Aquaculture; Phase 5 – Monitoring and evaluation. Monitoring and evaluation of all the phases for ensuring the coherencies and efficiency; Phase 6 Communication and dissemination of results. Realization of specific events, production of communication and dissemination materials, on-line communication. Organization and support to the on-line network communities on fishery.
